Girls Tennis improves to 2-1 after defeating Cardinal Ritter!

Girls Tennis improves to 2-1 after defeating Cardinal Ritter and JV improves to 3-0.

The Lady Warriors hosted Cardinal Ritter last night and came away with a win!
1st Singles Tia Hague took under an hour to post a 6-0, 6-0 win. 2nd Singles Madelyn Oconitrillo bounced back from her loss to Greenwood and defeated Cardinal Ritter 6-2,6-2. Undefeated 3rd Singles Alexis Moment struggled to break her opponent in the first set, but found a way and won 6-3, 6-0. The 1st Doubles team of Kelli Rivers and Morgan Oconitrillo fought off a few match point to rally back and capture their first win of the season 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 11-9. The 2nd Doubles team of Alicia Whitney and Shila Shelby had an easier 1st set, but struggled to finish off their opponents in the 2nd set. After serve for the match at 5-2, and 5-4 the Lady Warriors found their rhythm and won 6,2, 7-5.  Warren improves to 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in the conference. Warren will host Southport on Monday April 8, @ 5:00pm and travel to Franklin Central on Wednesday, April 10, @ 5:00 pm
