Contact Coach Gary Roberts with questions at groberts@warren.k12.in.us

Hello Everyone,

I hope you're having a great weekend. Hasn't it been beautiful out? (Don't you wish it would be like this in March when we play our first games?)

For some of us the fun begins Tuesday evening. We will be working out on the football field from 6:30-8:00 PM. Only those with all of their Forms Stuff can participate. (Mariela and Sierra, I have your physical information and will give it to the trainers Monday. I've copied the information about Final Forms from our last email below. If you aren't in yet, please do it.

When you come to practice, here's what will happen:

Meet at the East Gate of the football stadium. (Scoreboard end)

You must be wearing a mask.

One of our coaches will take your temperature with one of those thermometers that does something on your forehead and then tells us if you're okay to play. (I think a temperature of 100 degrees is our athletic department number to send you home.)

Another Coach (Unless I'm the only one there.) will ask you several questions about your health.

If all of that goes well you will be able to go into the stadium, pick up a stick, eyeguard and ball. DO NOT TAKE YOUR MASK OFF YET. (You will be able to take them off once we begin our activities)

Once we're all in I will give you some instructions and the fun will begin.

At the end of practice, the gear you have borrowed will be wiped down with disinfectant.

I think there's something we might have to do at the end of practice, but I'll need to check with the trainers for a reminder.

When we finish, please mask up and leave right away. We are not able to hang around after practice.

If you need to see me in person during the day you can find me most of the time in G242.

You must be ALL GREEN on Final Forms to start playing.

You must also be ALL GREEN on Final Forms for me to submit your name to Mr. Clayton for free stuff.

If your parents have not yet set up their Final Forms Account, here is the link to get started. Be sure they add you and select lacrosse.

Once set up, you will find a place to do parent signatures and student signatures. The physical will probably indicate that it's out of date. If you played last year, you just have to fill in the one paper form that I can get to you if you need it. Bring that either to me or the trainers and your physical will turn green. If you didn't play last year, you need to get an athletic physical. (You can go to your doctor or to somewhere like Walgreens or CVS.)

See you Tuesday!!
