Morgan Wallen, one of the biggest country music artists currently, plans to release his new album “I’m The Problem” in May. It has been over two years since he released his last album, “One Thing At A Time,” and fans are eagerly awaiting for the album to drop.
“I’m pumped,” sophomore Jeremiah Wright said. “I love Morgan Wallen. His music is nothing but bangers.”
Wallen has been a part of the county music scene since 2014 when he competed on season six of “The Voice.” His meteoric rise to fame truly started when he began releasing his own music, with his first song being “The Way I Talk,” which he released in 2016. That next year he would collaborate with the huge country music group Florida Georgia Line on “Up Down.”
His first two songs were very well received by country music fans, but in 2018 with the release of “Whiskey Glasses,” he shot to the top of the country music charts. Not too long after, Wallen would release his very first album, “If I Know Me,” which was both a culmination of the songs he was a part of in the past and new hit songs like “Chasin You,” for example.
Three years later Wallen would release his second album “Dangerous: The Double Album,” which completely surpassed its predecessor and became the number-one album on the country music charts and number-one album in the U.S. for some time. With the release of this album, he also debuted new hit songs like “Sand In My Boots,” “This Bar,” “7 Summers,” “More Than My Hometown” and “Wasted On You.”
At this point, Morgan Wallen was already one of the most popular country music artists of the time, but he didn’t stop there. Two years later, in 2023, he released his third album, “One Thing At A Time.” With this album’s release, he dropped what would most likely be his biggest and most popular song ever, “Last Night.”
The song was at the top spot on the music charts for sixteen weeks in 2023, making it the longest-running number-one song of the year. Along with “Last Night” there are many other notable songs from the album like “I Wrote The Book,” “98 Braves” and “Everything I Love.”
Fast-forward to the present day. Over the past year, Wallen has released several singles, including “Lies, Lies, Lies,” “Love Somebody,” “Smile” and “I’m The Problem.” Not only has he released new songs but he even collaborated with Post Malone on “I Had Some Help” and Brooks & Dunn on “Neon Moon.” He has also announced that he has been working on his fourth album and is going on another tour, both named after “I’m The Problem.”
Over the past couple of months, Wallen has posted small excerpts from three of his album tracks: “Superman,” “I’m A Little Crazy” and “Just In Case.” On March 16 Wallen revealed that the album is officially done.
This album is set to release on May 16, and it has been revealed that the tour would start on June 20 and end on Sept. 13. Fans of his are eagerly waiting for this new album to be released and are ready for more great songs from one of the biggest country music artists right now, Morgan Wallen.
