What a great time of year! As we move through this holiday season and continue to focus on being thankful and celebrating the year, we should all take a moment to think about our impact on others. Everyone has the power to build up someone else and ensure that they know they are special and important. A smile, high five, quick note, or a well-timed hug can turn someone’s day around. Our families, schools, neighborhoods, and nation would be greatly improved if everyone took steps to make one person feel awesome everyday. My challenge to the Hawthorne family is to take the next week and focus on making a positive impact on others; one person a day should know that Hawks care about others.
