Students had a great time during CORE Bash before Spring Break. So many fun activities and things to be purchased with their CORE bucks. #HawkPride

We are so happy to have our students back in the building this week! It has been wonderful to see their excitement and energy as they return to the classroom.

Students have done an amazing job jumping right back into learning, especially as we dive into our CKLA lessons. We are proud of their focus, effort, and positive attitudes as they reconnect with routines and engage in meaningful learning.

Congratulations to the students that won a TV and a five pound chocolate bar. Our two top sellers got a one pound chocolate bar. Other prizes will be awarded when we return from Spring Break. Thanks for participating in our chocolate fundraiser! #HawkPride

This week, students across our building have been actively engaging in both Reveal Math and CKLA Reading!

In math, students are strengthening their fact fluency and number sense while explaining their thinking and solving problems in new ways.

During CKLA read-alouds, students listen closely, share their ideas, and deepen understanding through thoughtful discussions with their classmates. It’s exciting to see so much learning and collaboration happening in our classrooms! 📚➕✨

This week, we’re celebrating Read Across America Week! 📖

Thanks to the Warren Arts and Education Foundation, our third graders enjoyed a special reading experience with guests from the Pacers Foundation and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. 💛🏀💙

Students listened to a read-aloud, showed off their comprehension skills in a fun Jeopardy-style game, and even won prizes! 🎉

We are so grateful for these community partners who helped make reading come alive for our students. Thank you for supporting our third graders! 💙📚
