This week, we’re celebrating Read Across America Week! 📖

Thanks to the Warren Arts and Education Foundation, our third graders enjoyed a special reading experience with guests from the Pacers Foundation and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. 💛🏀💙

Students listened to a read-aloud, showed off their comprehension skills in a fun Jeopardy-style game, and even won prizes! 🎉

We are so grateful for these community partners who helped make reading come alive for our students. Thank you for supporting our third graders! 💙📚

Our students had a great time shopping in the CORE store last week.
We appreciate the Warren Arts and Education Foundation for keeping our shelves stocked with items. We also appreciate the parents that came in to volunteer in the store to assist with counting all their CORE cash.

Great writing is happening all across our building through CKLA! Students are using what they read to plan, draft, and revise their own pieces—growing as thoughtful authors and sharing their ideas with confidence every day. ✏️📚

We loved seeing all of the families that attended STEM night on Tuesday. #HawkPride

Happy Valentine's Day! What are some of your traditions to show love to your family?

Students are working hard reading texts together, building fluency and comprehension, and teaming up with classmates to solve challenging math problems. We love their teamwork and perseverance! Way to go, Hawks!

Don't forget... tonight is STEM Night for those of you that RSVP'd.
We look forward to seeing you! We can't wait to show you some cool robots. Dinner starts at 5:30pm and ends at 6pm so you have time to enjoy all of the activities.

We would like to introduce you to our new FA teacher, Miss Myers. She joined our team last month. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University. We are so excited to have her. #HawkPride

We made it to 100 days of school and the kids loved dressing up and making projects with 100 items. #HawksWill
