Superintendent Update

This is our final week of Fall Break, and school will resume on Monday, October 19.

We hope our students, staff, and families enjoy the remainder of the break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday.

Redistricting Community Feedback

As a reminder, we are continuing to gather community feedback on the three proposed elementary and middle school attendance boundary options as we prepare for the 2027–2028 school year and the return of 5th grade to our elementary schools.

If you have not already done so, I encourage you to review the proposed boundary maps and complete our Redistricting Community Survey. Your feedback is an important part of this process and will help inform revisions to the proposals before recommendations are brought forward to our School Board later this year.

Several resources are available to help families learn more about the redistricting process and understand how the proposed changes may impact their neighborhood or school:

  • Redistricting Website:

Information about the process, timeline, proposed boundary options, and other resources is available on our

    district redistricting website

    .

  • School Locator:

    Use our

    interactive School Locator

to enter an address and explore how each of the proposed boundary options may impact your assigned elementary school.

  • Redistricting Community Survey:

After reviewing the proposals, please take a few minutes to share your feedback:

    Redistricting Survey

  • Thank you to everyone who has already taken the time to review the proposals and share your perspective. Your input matters

, and we appreciate your engagement and participation as we work toward a recommendation that best supports our students, families, schools, and community.

Even while many of our students and staff are enjoying Fall Break, there continues to be a lot to celebrate across Warren. I want to take a moment to recognize two accomplishments that reflect the great work happening across our district and community.

Warren Adult & Continuing Education Recognized for Excellence

Congratulations to our Warren Adult & Continuing Education team and community for being recognized by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development as a Program of Excellence! This marks the fourth consecutive year Warren Adult & Continuing Education has earned this distinction.

This recognition reflects the commitment of our team to creating opportunities for adult learners throughout our community and helping them take meaningful next steps toward their educational, career, and personal goals. Way to go, Director Natalie Reuter and the Warren ACE Team! For more information about our Warren Adult & Education Program,

visit their website linked here.

Congratulations, Warren Central Football!

Another Warren celebration comes from our student-athletes. Congratulations to our Warren Central Warriors Football Team on winning the 2026 Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference (MIC) Championship! This marks our first MIC football championship since 2019.

Congratulations to our student-athletes, coaches, support staff, families, and everyone who has contributed to a successful season.

This Friday, our Warriors will close out the regular season at home against Homestead High School. Following a week off for the opening round of sectionals, Warren Central will begin postseason play on Friday, October 30, at Perry Meridian High School.

As we prepare for Friday’s home game, I also want to provide an update regarding our game-day safety and security expectations.

We appreciate the cooperation of our students, families, staff, Warren Police, and guests in following the additional procedures implemented last Friday. We will continue these enhanced safety and security measures this week while making adjustments based on our review of last Friday’s game.

Our priority remains clear: to provide a safe and secure environment for our students, staff, families, and guests before, during, and after the game.

Important Game Day Safety & Security Information

1. Advance Ticket Sales All tickets must be purchased online in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the gate. Please have your ticket readily available as you arrive on campus.

2. Campus Entry & Security Checkpoints

All patrons entering campus will be required to pass through a designated security checkpoint. Access to campus will be limited to staff and ticketed spectators. Please have your game ticket and identification readily available to assist with the entry process.

3. High School Student Spectator Requirements

Adults, staff, and other community members with a valid game ticket are welcome to attend Friday night’s game.

The following restrictions apply specifically to high school students attending the game as spectators:

  • Only students currently enrolled at Warren Central High School or Homestead High School

may attend as high school student spectators.

  • All high school students must present a valid school-issued ID for admission.

  • Physical and electronic school IDs will be accepted.

  • High school students without a valid school ID will not be permitted to enter, even if they have purchased a ticket.

  • High school students from other schools will not be permitted to attend.

4. Middle School Student Attendance

Our restriction on middle school student attendance will remain in place this Friday. However, we are making a limited exception for middle school siblings of Warren Central High School students participating in the game as members of the football team, marching band, or cheerleading squad.

Middle school siblings who meet this exception may attend only when accompanied by a parent or guardian and must receive and wear a designated wristband.

For those attending under this exception:

  • Parent/Guardian Supervision:

Middle school siblings must remain with their parent or guardian at all times while moving throughout the stadium, including trips to concession stands and restrooms.

  • Seating:

Middle school siblings must sit with their parent or guardian throughout the game.

  • Wristband:

Middle school siblings must receive and wear the designated wristband throughout the evening.

  • Other Middle School Students:

Middle school students who do not meet this exception will not be permitted to attend.

5. Stadium Bag Policy

All guests will be expected to follow our stadium bag policy. Specific bag requirements and restrictions will be shared with ticketing information. We encourage everyone attending to review these expectations before arriving to avoid delays or denied entry.

We recognize that these measures are more restrictive than our normal Friday night procedures and may create inconvenience for some students and families. At this time, we believe continuing these measures is appropriate. We will continue to review our procedures and make adjustments based on our experiences, feedback, and the guidance of our school safety and law enforcement teams.

Safety is a shared responsibility.

Everyone attending Friday’s game is expected to follow the directions of school and district staff, security personnel, and law enforcement and to promptly report any concerning, threatening, or unsafe behavior.

Concerns can also be submitted through our anonymous reporting for or by calling 317-532-3049.

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and understanding as we continue to prioritize the safety of everyone attending our events. We appreciate your partnership in helping us provide a safe and secure environment while supporting our Warriors.

Congratulations again to our MIC Champions, and good luck to our Warriors this Friday!
