Our administration, counseling team, and some wonderful teachers got together to represent TEAM HAWTHORNE at Warren's WAEF Gala on Friday night! It was a fun night of dinner, sharing achievements and awards, and dancing. Hawthorne received not one, but TWO grants for our students and teachers to utilize. #HawkPride

This week, we were visited by Mr. David Bell with the Cleveland Browns to present the Far East Side Kid Awards to a handful or so of our Hawks! He also handed out a book and some goodies to Congratulate to our Hawthorne recipients! You truly show what it means to be Far Eastside Kids!
Hawthorne has such an outstanding PTA!!! Our amazing PTA providedclassrooms with this prefix and suffix BINGO game. Today was the day it was finally broken it out, and we all had SO much fun! Thanks so much, PTA. What a fun way to play and learn!
Tonight, Mr. Brosius, from the Marion County Prosecutor's office will speak to the parents of Hawthorne about Cyber Safety from 6pm-7pm. You don't want to miss this! You will learn ways to keep your family safe while using technology.
