Next Friday, November 14, , KG Kids will host a STEM night at Pleasant Run Elementary for Hawthorne, Pleasant Run, and Sunny Heights students and families from 6-8pm. As of now, participation is low! If you plan to attend, you must scan the QR code on the flyer and register to receive your STEM Kit!
The Veteran’s Day Program includes all of Fourth Grade and Second Grade; it is TOMORROW (November 7, 2024) at 10:45am. Students can wear something red, white, or blue, or something they are comfortable performing in.
Your student has been working so hard, and I cannot wait to see it all come together!
Our performance will be held in our new gymnasium! Please enter the door at bus lot on the East side of the building. This will take you directly to the gymnasium.
Please sign and return the paper stating that you will do your best to have your child at school on Thursday, November 7 to perform in the brief Veteran’s Day Program. Thank you for promoting music, celebrating America and veterans, and also for helping your child keep their responsibility of being at Hawthorne on Thursday, November 7, 2024.

CORE Week is almost halfway over already!! Yesterday, all of our Hawks were able to spend their earned CORE Cash at the Hawk Store dressed up in their favorite holiday clothes! Today, we were able to go outside and celebrate nearly perfect attendance with several hundred of our Hawks dressed in our favorite colors from head to toe! We can't wait to see your hats/headbands tomorrow for Hawkapalooza!! #HawksCan!
